- Ex-vivo Human skin models Sources: Adult skin samples from different parts of the body (example: abdomen, arm, leg)
- Full-thickness or Dermatomized (OECD 428 according to Skin Absorption) (or custom formats)
- Frozen, Donor information includes age, sex, ethnicity, skin localization, phototype
- All donors are HIV 1 & 2, hepatitis B and C virus negative
- Applications of the skin explant model: Ex-vivo skin tissue samples can be used in efficacy and safety testing of new compounds.
